Your Itinerary

1. Titou Gorge — The Hollywood-Famous Canyon

Step into a natural wonderland featured in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.

An easy 5–10 minute walk from the vehicle brings you to the water. From there it’s a gentle 2-minute swim — roughly 100 feet — through a narrow, cave-like river gorge where sunlight filters down between towering walls of volcanic rock. The water runs up to 10 feet deep before shallowing to waist height at a hidden interior waterfall. Confident swimmers can climb the lower ledge for a look at a second cascade behind it.

The water here is refreshing and fed straight off the mountain — most guests find it bracing and unforgettable in equal measure.

Safety: We provide flotation belts for every guest. No underwater swimming

Time at location: 45–60 minutes

2. Trafalgar Falls — The Majestic Twin Waterfalls

Through the Roseau Valley to Dominica’s most photographed waterfalls: the "Father," dropping 125 feet, and the "Mother" at 75 feet, falling side by side out of the rainforest.

A gentle 10-minute walk on a maintained trail brings you to the viewing platform — mist on your face, tree ferns overhead, and one of the best photographs you’ll take on the island.

Time at location: 45–60 minutes

3. Roseau Botanical Gardens — Flora, Heritage & a Famous Bus

A relaxing drive through 40 acres of gardens at the foot of Morne Bruce, planted in the 1890s and still one of Roseau’s landmarks.

Two things everyone remembers: the baobab tree that Hurricane David flattened onto a school bus in 1979 — the bus is still pinned underneath, exactly where it fell — and the aviary housing the Sisserou parrot, found nowhere on earth but Dominica and the bird on our national flag.

4. Morne Bruce Viewpoint — The View Over Roseau

We finish on the ridge above the city. From the old garrison lookout you get a sweeping view across Roseau’s rooftops, the harbour, the Caribbean running out to the horizon — and your ship at the dock below.

The perfect last photograph before we take you back to port.

Time at location: 10–15 minutes
